Granton Information Centre have appointments available at the Practice. Appointments can be booked by contacting the surgery on 0131 552 5544. Please note you must be a registered patient at the practice to book an appointment. This service can help provide advice in the following areas –
- Personal Independence Payment Claims for clients with disabilities, as well as renewals
- Universal Credit, Employment Support Allowance, Jobseekers Allowance claims or issues
- Disability Living Allowance for children (this has become the Scottish Child Disability Payment this year for new claims but many still know it as DLA)
- Housing disrepair
- Other housing issues, such as rent arrears or housing benefit claims. Homeless patients or near homeless patients
- General Debt issues and bankruptcy
- Council tax reductions or arrears
